No. Polyethylene turf fibers are unaffected by chlorinated and salt-system water at pool concentrations, splash-out drains through the backing and base like rain. The maintenance is a rinse, not a treatment.
Is turf slippery when wet?
Wet turf stays grippier than wet smooth decking because the pile gives bare feet texture to hold. Water doesn't stand on a properly drained install, so the surface sheds toward damp rather than slick.
How hot does poolside turf get in summer?
